It was still pretty early in the day when I got up for a walk, but this
rural grandmother and a granddaughter had apparently sold all their
wares even by 7am. I haven't seen those kinds of weights and measures
since chemistry lab.
I
call him the niffy old uncle. He always seemed happy to see me and chat
with me even though the language barrier seemed insurmountable save
through a friendly smile and endless cups of tea.
